Jinhe Hydropower Station (Changdu, Tibet), the key project set in Tibet. The diversion type station is situated on the right bank of Lancang River, within the boundaries of Changdu County. It is an inter basin developed project with a combined capacity of 600 MW.
During construction of the Jinhe Hydropower Station, crushed rock conditions were encountered in surrounding struts areas of the access tunnel of surge shaft, pressure penstock and surface powerhouse. To meet the needs of design and construction , a wide variety of rock anchors were used to support and protect these strata of rock, as well as to make radial reinforcement and slope stabilization. This measure significantly improved the performance of the surrounding rocks and had demonstrate much higher efficient results of supporting.
